Elle's Crib Sheets

I have had a very busy (or sick) past 5 months, sorry for the lack in posts!  I've had people ask me what colors I was thinking for the baby and I thought I would post my "crib sheets."  I've been told not to put bumpers on the crib (because of SIDS and strangulation concerns.)  Anyone else heard this?  So we will try without, and see if she bonks her head and then add them later.  I picked out some fabric on Saturday designed by Amy Butler, she has some great fabric on her website.  I found a little store in Pasadena which sells her stuff.  My mom is kindly making a bed skirt and sheets and a blanket to go with the set.  If anyone is looking for crib sets out of Amy's fabrics you can pick up custom made ones on Etsy.com.  They are around $200 but compared to some resellers, that is a steal.  Even Target can be pricey for the non "cutesy" animal print ones.  We do have a few things from Target which are from the Bird collection from Dwell Studio.  They go well with the pink and brown color scheme.  We even got the matching Boppy pillow.

We  have also chosen the name Elle Madelyn for her.  It seems to have stuck, so I don' t expect any changes.  On another note, I am finally done with editing weddings and portrait sittings, and I am editing our photos from france.  I will blog them soon.  I have gotten requests to see my belly bump, and there will be some pictures of it in France, but I'm not going to be taking any posing maternity photos....I don't want nice pictures of my fatness:)  I will take pictures of the baby when she comes in October:)
