South of France

As promised I am posting pictures from our 2nd half of our trip to France.  I'm currently on maternity leave, and I'm finished with all my organizing and rearranging.  So now I am just working on little projects and playing the waiting game until the baby comes....and she is welcome to come anytime now!  Anyways, here is the pictures from the second half of our trip.  Sorry there are sooo many food pictures...one of the only good things about being pregnant is that you don't care what you eat and how much...so my favorite day of the whole trip was the farmers market.  Again, most of these were taken with my small point and shoot camera so don't judge me too harshly :)  it is not fun to carry the big camera all day when you are preggo.  You can see the slideshow of our whole trip here

Michael & Carly

These guys were an awesome couple!  I have to say I've never seen a backyard transformed so well for a wedding reception.  All the details were beautiful...you will see a lot of detail shots in the slideshow.  I loved too many of them!  I also loved the colors they had, I always wanted a summer wedding, and this one makes me envious of those summer blooms you get at this time of the year.  Anyways here are the pics! All the best to Michael & Carly!  See the slideshow here.

A long long time ago....

We went to France.  Ok, May wasn't that long ago....but I should have blogged it by now:)  I am usually out of steam now when I come home from work.  I don't think that I'm one of "those girls"  the kind of pregnant girls that have the cute little basketball bellies and they act as if they aren't phased by any of it.  We now have about 5 weeks left before the due date.  I'm sooo ready to be done!  I am on maternity leave as of next friday, which will be different for me.  I haven't stopped working for 6 years.  It will be strange to be home every day.  I am excited to do fun personal projects that I have wanted to get done (I hope to actually blog more!).  I also need to get the Baby's room together. Yesterday I came home and Chad had already put the crib together.  The crib is perfect and I can't wait to see the bedding on it.  I will post pictures as soon as we have things together.  Next week we need to go pick up the dresser.  Buying baby stuff is probably the one fun thing about being pregnant. The little clothes are fun to buy.  Maternity clothes are NOT so fun to buy...especially right now...I just need anything stretchy.

Anyways, I thought I'd start off by showing some photos from Paris.  We are having internet issues at our house so I haven't been able to get the slideshow up, so I will post the south of France with our slideshow once we get our new service.  We are getting cable while I'm on my leave....we just can't get used to the lovely HD channels, because I want it gone after we go back to normal life.  We are also getting digital internet, which will be staying.  Anyways here are the Paris photos!  Most of these photos are taken with my small point and shoot camera.  Lugging the large Nikon around got to be tiring.

We had a great time in Paris! It was still hard being pregnant, I got REALLY swollen on our flights.  And running around a city made for walking got tiring.  I have a friend who just went to Paris pregnant, and she said it was great but she couldn't enjoy it.  I got along ok, but I hope to go again when I can have a lot of energy and take more photos. I have to say, Paris is beautiful.... I have never seen anything so over the top in my life.  The craftsmanship, of the entire place was amazing.

One bad thing about going to France Preggo is the fact that you aren't supposed to eat the soft French cheeses:(

This one is on the train right before some kid tried to put his hand in my bag to pick pocket me

The Gardens of Versailles, were one of my favorite things, especially Marie Antoinette's country chateau

I thought I was large at the time....if I only knew

Of course we went to Disneyland Paris.

Chad went swimming one night and I went to the laundry mat.  Long story short...don't go to the laundry mat unless you can read french.  I spent around 35$ and got run out of the place by a homeless looking french man who was trying to close his store.  I ended up with a bag of wet clothes that Chad had to help me haul back the next morning to dry.

 The city really is beautiful

Mmm, I hope I didn't eat any of these guys
